LA VENTOLERA and LOS PINOS, are farms located next to Santa Barbara town in Antioquia. They have replicated Santa Barabara’s practices adding value to their products and working hand by hand with young coffee growers programs that want to evolve the traditional model.
These farms are well known for the fermentations processes they have developed for their natural and honey coffee processes, protocols that allow them to have consistency in their profiles year after year.
Felipe and Alejandro, father and son, are the production leaders in LA VENTOLERA farm that has approximately 35 hectares. Both of them with business professional education, have stood out in the coffee culture market thanks to their innovation processes for the benefit of coffee.
Felipe and Alejandro are today part of the board of directors of the coffee council where strategic decisions that impact the direction of the municipality of SANTA BARBARA are made. Both farms can proudly say that all the produced coffee is processed under their protocols and with their high quality standards is sold abroad.
