Ciudad Bolívar is one of the most representative towns of Paisa culture. Located in the southwest border of Antioquia and surrounded by rain forest over the mountains. It is also denominated the epicenter of coffee in Antioquia as more than the 30% of the coffee from this state originates here.
Ciudad Bolivar also provides extreme adventures in their jungles and impressive mountain formation called “Farallones del Citara.” The Farallones (pronounced far-a-jon-es) is essentially a wall of nature sprawling 4020 meters over sea level and provides an entire paradise for birds and other animals.
Natural process where coffee is harvested at the sweetness level of 20 Brix.
Very fruity with plums, strawberry jam, red fruits, sugar cane and hints of tamarind. Medium body and acidity.
